History

Crossroads Trailer was founded in Albert Lea, MN in 1986 by Darv Habben and Todd Wayne. It started out as an opportunity to deliver quality products and services to the transportation sector. Loyal customers were developed through the Founder’s ability to build strong relationships by providing honest, timely and consistent products and services throughout each transaction. Over the years, Crossroads has represented several different product lines, ultimately retaining the right to distribute Great Dane Trailers and Carrier Transicold TRU’s in the late 90’s. In 2014 and 2015 two additional product lines were added, APU’s in 2014 and Cheetah Chassis in 2015. With the addition of these two lines, Crossroads has the ability to further assist the transportation sector with quality products and services.

Since the early days of the company, we have seen the industry develop and change, but the one thing that remains consistent is the commitment to provide each customer with the same respect and commitment to stand behind the sale regardless of how big our small.

Crossroads was founded as a family business and is still owned and operated locally with the same values and visions of the Founders. The new ownership group will capitalize on the knowledge and expertise passed down to build on the same principles that have made Crossroads one of the largest semi- trailer and refrigeration dealers in the Upper Midwest.
